NALENND NPA NXX Database The NALENND™ NPA NXX to Postal Code Database provides the coverage required to determine what telephone area codes and exchanges are used in a particular United States Zip Code or Canadian postal code as well as what United States Zip Codes or Canadian Postal Codes are in use within a particular telephone area code and exchange.

This mapping is based on the geography of the NPA NXX Rate Center and the ZIP Code boundaries which yields a true representation of the coverage areas.

NPACHAR (3)3-digit Numbering Plan Area (NPA) Code. An NPA, also known as a telephone area code, is the first three digits of a 10-digit North American Numbering Plan (NANP) telephone number in the form NXX-NXX-XXXX, where N represents any one of the numbers 2 through 9 and X represents any one of the numbers 0 through 9. Valid numeric range for NPA codes is 200 through 999.
NXXCHAR (3)3-digit Central Office Code (COC). The COC, commonly called the telephone exchange or prefix, is the second three digits (NXX) of a 10-digit NANP telephone number in the form NXX-NXX-XXXX, where N represents any one of the numbers 2 through 9and X represents any one of the numbers 0 through 9. Valid numeric range for NXX codes is 200 through 999.
ZIPCHAR (7)5-digit United States ZIP Code or 7-character Canadian postal code.
COUNTRYCHAR (2)2-character ISO 3166 country code
STATECHAR (2)2-character United States Postal Service or Canada Post abbreviation for the state, province or territory of the city and Rate Center location.
CITYVARCHAR (128)United States Postal Service or Canada Post recognized name for the city or locale identified by the current ZIP or postal code.
UTCCHAR (6)Standard Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) time zone offset for this location. Formatted +/-HH:MM
DSTCHAR (1)Y / N field indicating whether Daylight Saving Time is recognized at this location.
RCCHAR (10)10-character Rate Center abbreviated name identifying local service area where the NPA NXX is assigned.
